A deal is a deal

I had Direct TV and Verizon came to town, I was offered $100 off of my 1st bill and $100 gift card to offset activation fees and to pay out of my direct tv contract. The $100 was not taken off of my 1st bill, I called customer service and they informed me they could only take $50 off . We called the rep 3 times and he said he would take care of it and never did. I called customer service AGAIN and was told she would take $39.99 off I said that was not the deal. She was rude and said, what do u want from us why should we take off $100. I said, because that was the deal I was offered to switch and I want what I was promised. Now I get it, promise whatever it takes to get a contract signed, make the customer call multiple times to get what's promised, never really give it to them but act like your doing them a favor to give them a portion of what was promised. I gave direct tv the opportunity and they did not match the deal so I switched. Now I see they were just being honest. I run a sales department and deal with customers all the time, we would be out of business if we treated our customers like this. Your Cust service dept needs some training.
