Have you checked the logs in the router? They could possibly give you some indication of what is going on.
The router's WAN DHCP lease interval is 2 hours. At 1/2 the lease interval (1 hour), the router will renew the WAN DHCP lease. This should not cause any disruption to your connection. It's also unlikely that this is occurring at the top of the hour, although it's possible.
