chaybee1: I dunno. I don't think Verizon has changed anything on the routers. Otherwise, we probably would have seen the firmware version number change. It's possible they pushed an update to the Cisco boxes themselves that fixed the problem for some of us. But again, it's all hearsay because it's not like Verizon actually communicates to us.
FatherMadman: That's interesting. I didn't realized IGMP had anything to do with the multi-room DVR. That precludes it as a fix for me anyway, because I hope to get the MRDVR someday.
At this point, I'm hoping the last tech who called me on Friday will learn something and call me at some point next week. I'd be very surprised if she tells me something I haven't heard before, however.
