I wouldnt blame Verizon and make a switch. From what I have read, all of the providers are having the same issue. Seems like its all about money and who should pony up to fix the problem. From what I read (and I could be wrong) Netflix uses Congent to carry their traffic on the internet. The connection between Congent and Verizon cannot carry all of the bandwidth Netflix pushes. Congent will not put in the money to correct the issue. Since Congent is putting the majority of the traffic on the internet, they are to pay to upgrade the connection . Congent want Verizon to pay. Netflix solution was to allow providers to connect to them, but again they want the provider to pay to make the connection. I don't know enough about who pays for what, but in the end the users suffer. Netflix is about 1/3 of all network traffic. With that in mind I would thing Netflix should fix the problem.
Again, I could be wrong about some of this info. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
