As a Verizon FIOS Internet (75/35) customer, I am entitled to Verizon Wi-Fi access. After logging into My Verizon, My Services, I choose "My Internet Features", and then "Verizon Wi-Fi" manage button, and then "Download Wi-Fi Connect" button. I see an "Eligible for Verizon Wi-Fi" and "Register Now" button. I click this button, and I get to a page entitled "Register for Wi-Fi Hotspot Account", where it asked for Wi-Fi ID and Wi-Fi Password. I enter these such that I get all green checkmarks for both, and then click the "Continue" button. I am then greeted with a screen that simple says "Due to technical difficulties we are not able to process your request right now. Please try again later."
Calling into Verizon for help gets me bounced all over to various people that either don't understand what I am asking for, or are unable to pull up my account.
How can I get a Verizon Wi-Fi Hotspot ID setup for myself?
