I am beyond upset with Verizon FIOS.
I spent my free time on a Sunday to speak with one of FIOS' sales representatives (who turns out to be a third party), and was given and offer. I was happy with the offer, but upon getting the confirmation email, I called back on Sunday and put on hold to the point where I had to hang up because I was on hold for so long.
I called back Tuesday (6/3/2014) and spoke with multiple people for over an hour. Nothing was resolved. The phone conversation I had on Sunday was not recorded to be reviewed was the excuse given to me because it was a 3rd party vendor. I have to wonder why you wouldn't record a 3rd party vendor working under your name and representing your company. I gave a 3rd party my personal information including my social security number and none of the information is documented. If the conversation could not be confirmed or not, how can it be confirmed who has my information and what they are doing with it?
Your customer service team was not helpful in resolving the issue. I would love a response to my email.
Please explain who is monitoring the 3rd parties you hire with my personal information if you aren't.
Also, I would like to know why you would not honor the deal that was first offered to me verbally.
I am terribly disappointed and surprised, as I have heard nothing but good things about FIOS.
Has anyone else had issues like this?
