Dial 1-800-VERIZON on the phone, press 0 at the main menu. Choose the type of trouble you're having from the phone menu, and when you describe your problem, be concise. I've always gotten someone within a few minutes using this method whenever I've had to call and didn't want to deal with the automated system.
