If you don't want the "replace battery" beeping, get a glue gun and fill the hole in the beeper housing with hot melt glue. Muffles the sound to nearly nothing. You CAN take a car battery and hook it up to the + (red) and minus (black) connectors and get over 100 hrs instead of 8! We use a generator to power the router and ONT box.
